TESTING OF YOUR FAITH

on

Oh  Lord, another trial?  Really?.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.  James 1:2

Today, I had so many opportunities to “count it all joy”.   Trials, began as soon as I stepped out of my front door to go to work!!

Every person in the world, including yourself, will encounter various trials throughout life. Satan seeks to defeat you by tempting you to trust your own wisdom, to live according to your self-centered feelings, and to gratify the desires of your flesh. In contrast, God’s will is for you to be an overwhelming conqueror in all of these tests for His honor and glory. John Brogger.

I was very thankful for an opportunity not to gratify the desires of the flesh today. An overwhelming ocean of traffic after a long weekend and bad drivers did not move me.

“TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING”

That is God’s plan and purpose – to use Satan’s temptations as a means of testing and strengthening our faith in Him and of our growing stronger in righteousness.  God allows testings in our lives in order that our spiritual “muscles” may be exercised and strengthened.  Whether the testing is by God’s initiative or is sent by Satan, God will always use it to produce good in us when we meet the test in His power. John Macarthur

By the end of an extremely horrendously busy day with one customer after another +  their demands +their complaints +PC not working +TCR breaking down + etc etc all totalling = Disaster Day!!                      must confess, I stopped counting it all “Joy”.

BUT now as I sit back an reflect I clearly see the Lord’s wisdom and direccion through it all.

As you are trusting God during your trial you see how all things work together in the disaster!!. All glory to Him, because if my flesh had been allowed to take over, the day would have ended in a very different way.

Welcome your trials with “joy” dear family in Christ.
