As Diamonds in our Eyes.

When you are so weak that you cannot do much more than cry, you coin diamonds with both your eyes. The sweetest prayers God ever hears are the groans and sighs of those who have no hope in anything but his love.” C Spurgeon.

When life hurts
It is ok to cry,

A heart shattered
A soul engulfed in grief
Oh Lord you see my pain
A cry from my heart
No words on my lips
Just tears in my eyes

When life hurts
It is ok to cry,

Our tears are prayers
Spoken with the heart
When our lips can not explain
The pain we feel inside.

When life hurts
Is is ok to cry,

Lord you have collected826763_S-01
all my tears in your bottle
You have recorded each one in your book

One day Lord you will wipe away our tears
But for now
When life hurts, It is ok to cry.

“My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?” Psalm 42:3

Psalm 34:15 “The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry”

Psalm 56:8-Thou  tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God. JOB 16:20

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” Psalm 126:5

Revelation 21:4 – And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

As Got  explains,

The fact that God remembers us and our sufferings should be very comforting. Often, obedience and following Jesus create suffering in our lives.

Our tears are not futile. God knows each of His children intimately, and every tear we shed has meaning to Him. He remembers our sorrow as if He kept each tear in a bottle. In the end, He will share His joy with us when “‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

  1. Very True Cristina, there is a time for everything and when we are hurting we don’t need to pretend to be Happy Clappy it is not a Sin to show our feelings, even when we worry God does not condemn us He reassures us instead that we can depend on Him to Help us.

God also tells us what our heart focus should be when others are hurting.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one anther’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Hebrews 10 24-25 And let us consider one another in order to stir up Love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

1 John 3:16-18 By this we know Love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the Love of God abide in Him? My little Children, let us not Love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in Truth. ( N.K.J.V)

1 John 4:11-13 Beloved, if God so Loved us we ought also to Love one another. No man hath seen God at any time if we Love one another God dwelleth in us and His Love is Perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in Him and He in us because He hath given us of His Spirit.(KJV)

1 John 4:6-8 Beloved, let us Love one another for Love is of God and every one that Loveth is Born of God, and knoweth God. He that Loveth not knoweth not God; for God is Love.(KJV)

John 13:34-35, A new Commandment I give unto you, That ye Love one another; as I have Loved you, that ye also Love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my Disciples, if ye have Love one to another.

1 Peter 3:7-9 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, Love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.

I like Spurgeon. And I like got questions. Most of all I like the thought I had this morning. Weep with those who Weep and Jesus wept. I remember as a young child being told not to cry. Don’t do that. Cry out to Jesus. I wish we would all give each other permission to cry. Thanks for your delightful even though sad post.
